Council Room, Odell, Illinois, Monday July 23, 2018, a Special Board Meeting was held this date at 6:00pm, at the K of C Hall, 108 Tremont Street, with Acting Mayor Brian Mills presiding and with proper notice having been posted.
Roll Call
Roll call showed the following Trustee members were physically present: Brian Verdun, Lisa Lambert, Jamie Johnson, Mark Tissiere, Joan Bullard, and Brian Mills
Staff Present: Iris Thorne
Village Attorney Present: Ed Legner, Nick Ehrgott
Guests Present: Members of the Community (see sign in sheet)
Pledge of Allegiance
Acting Mayor Mills led the Pledge of Allegiance
Public Forum:
Acting Mayor Mills explained that this Special Meeting was called for the purpose of discussion and to answer questions concerning the water debt. He also indicated that the Amended Water Ordinance approved at the June Regular Board Meeting would be rescinded and that water rates will remain the same until the January 2019 billing.
Water/Debt Rates
Trustee Mark Tissiere moved to rescind the Amended Water Ordinance that was enacted on June 14, 2018, and to reset the rates back to what they were: the first 2600 gallons for 22.32 and every 1000 gallons after that is 7.04; second by Trustee Joan Bullard;

Yeas: Brian Verdun, Lisa Lambert, Jamie Johnson, Mark Tissiere, Joan Bullard, and Brian Mills – 6;
Nays: None
Acting Mayor Mills stated that there will be a special meeting to again review water and debt rates. Mayor Mills opened the meeting up for discussion.
Trustee Lisa Lambert moved to adjourn at 7:17pm; second by Trustee Jamie Johnson;
