Council Room, Odell, Illinois, Monday Jan. 14, 2019, a Regular Board Meeting was held this date at 7:00pm, at Village Hall, Council Room, 213 S. Front Street, with Acting Mayor Brian Mills presiding and with proper notice having been posted.
Roll Call
Roll call showed the following Trustee members were physically present: Brian Verdun, Lisa Lambert, Jamie McPeek, Joan Bullard, and Brian Mills

Minutes of the Dec. 10, 2018 Regular Board Meetings
Trustee Brian Verdun moved to approve the minutes from the December 10, 2018 Regular Board Meeting; second by Trustee Joan Bullard;

Treasurer’s Report
Acting Mayor Mills reported that the Treasurer’s Report for the month ending December 31,2019 is not available at this time and will be submitted at the February 11, 2019 Regular Board Meeting.

Bills
Board Listing Report #28 ran on January 11, 2019 at 4:37pm representing all due bills for the Village due in January 2019, and the between Meeting Paid Bill List plus the bill from Trost Tree Trimming for $ 6,650.00. **Tourism invoices were paid out of Tourism, but in the system were ran thru the General Cash in all Funds account.
Trustee Brian Mills moved to approve the Board Listing Report #28 ran on January 11, 2019 at 4:37pm representing all due bills for the Village due in January 2019, and the between Meeting Paid Bill List plus the invoice from Trost Tree Trimming for $ 6,650.00; second by Trustee Joan Bullard;

Police Report
Sgt. Mitchell reported that during the month of December the Village had a total of 44 calls for various incidents.

Public Improvements
Discussion took place on setting goals for repairing and maintaining issues in town.
Miscellaneous Old Business (discussion only)
Acting Mayor Mills reported that the lift station generators have been ordered. In other old business our attorneys have prepared the ordinance adopting the updates to our Sexual Harassment Policy pursuant to Public Act #100-0554 as discussed at our October 2018 meeting.
Trustee Brian Verdun moved to adopt the Ordinance updating our Sexual Harassment Policy pursuant to Public Act #100-0554; second by Trustee Joan Bullard;

In other Old Business discussion took place on the proposed amendment to Village insurance policy on employees. Amendment is tabled until the February Meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
Truck Dump Bed Repairs
Acting Mayor Mills reported that the dump truck bed is rusted from hauling salt. He has received a bid from Giovanni for $ 3,150.00 to repair the dump truck bed. Issue is tabled until next month.
IEPA Findings / Recommendations
Water Operator Rich Ribordy presented results of our recent IEPA inspection.
Water Tower Inspection
Upon IEPA inspection Rich Ribordy will obtain bids from contractors that do water tower inspections.
Show Bus Donation
Trustee Jamie Johnson moved to donate $ 300.00 to the Show Bus; second by Trustee Brian Verdun;
