Council Room, Odell, Illinois, Monday September 09, 2024 a Regular Board Meeting was held this date at 7:00pm, at Village Hall, Council Room, 213 S. Front Street, with Mayor Brian Mills presiding, and with proper notice having been posted.

Roll call showed the following Trustee members were physically present: Brian Verdun, David Thorne, Randy Pagel, Steve Verdun, Tom Russell, and Josh Osborne

Trustee Brian Verdun moved to approve the August 12, 2024 Regular Board Meeting Minutes; second by Trustee Tom Russell;

Treasurer’s Report
The Treasurer’s report of Bank Ending Balances and the Fund Summary for the month ending August 31, 2024 are present for review and approval. Treasurer Jim Rebholz is not in attendance. Bank ending balances as of August 31, 2024 are as follows:

Board Listing Report #248 ran on September 09, 2024 at 10:33am representing all bills for the Village due in September; Board Listing Report #249 ran on September 09, 2024 at 10:49am representing all bills for Tourism due in September and the between Meeting Paid Bill List for September for $7,368.87 and an additional late bill from Liberty were presented for payment approval.

Police Report
No representative is present from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department. The Board reviewed the Police Activity Report for the month August
Public Forum (at Mayor’s discretion)
Mayor Mills invited guests from the community to speak concerning talk of construction in the uptown area. Mayor Mills addressed the guests and assured them that the Village has procedures that must be followed before construction can take place, and that the surrounding neighborhood would be notified at such a time, and at that time will be given an opportunity to express their concerns. Mayor Mills stated as of this date, request for permits, variances etc. have not been presented to the Village.

Zoning/Building Commission Recommendation Pool Variance Request
Zoning/Building Commission approved the pool variance request to install a mesh net over the pool until the completion of the fenced in deck expansion with a stipulation that the deck expansion be completed within one year.
Trustee Randy Pagel moved to accept the Zoning/Building Commission Recommendation; second by Trustee Tom Russell;
