Police Contract

Mayor Noonan opened discussion on how to go about determining what the Village needs are as far as Police patrol. Discussion centered on the fact that it is not feasible for the Village to accept the $60,000 contract offered by the County. After much discussion the board came to the consensus that for the remainder of this year, now thru November 30, 2013, the board will propose to the County that the Village would accept the same contract as offered to Odell last year: i.e. 40 hours of patrol with no replacement of the officer for vacations, training etc… at $30,000 plus a 3% increase.

Clearwell

Mayor Noonan reporting on the status of our clearwell project confirmed that after the Village’s

clearwell liner and not seeping thru the ground. A letter to this effect has been forwarded to

MPC. It is the consensus of the board that MPC needs to provide a new liner and that the

Village has the right to enforce the $1,000 per day penalty for non completion of the project.
