Water Tower Inspection<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\nPer the IEPA our water tower is overdue for an inspection of the inside since the last painting.\u00a0 The engineers gave Rich Ribordy an estimate of $ 800.00 to have this completed. This will be done in the spring.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
IEPA Findings\/Recommendations<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\nRich Ribordy reported that our water loss was due to a service line failure leaking into a tile and difficult to locate.\u00a0 It has been repaired and the water loss for the last two months is down to .14%.<\/p>\n

Employee Compensation\/Insurance Benefit for Spouse<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\nOur Attorneys have prepared the Resolution for the spouse insurance benefit in lieu of not insuring their spouse that was approved in December by 6 yeas and 0 nays.<\/p>\n

Truck Dump Bed Repairs<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\nActing Mayor Mills has received quotes from Monroe for $ 6,400 and Quality Truck for $ 7,300 for a steel bed.\u00a0 He already has one estimate for repairing the bed for $ 3,150 and will obtain a second estimate on repairing the truck bed. Issue is tabled until the March meeting.<\/p>\n

Public Improvements<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\nActing Mayor Mills reported on several issues that have been addresses at previous meetings.<\/p>\n

OSHA Complaint<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\nAttorney Nick Ehrgott reported that do to the number of Village employees the Village is not required to provide yearly documentation to OSHA.\u00a0 However Attorney Ehrgott has addressed the OSHA complaint and has submitted the required documentation of the Village\u2019s compliance.<\/p>\n
