Council Room, Odell, Illinois, Monday June 10, 2019, a Regular Board Meeting was held this date at 7:00pm, at Village Hall, Council Room, 213 S. Front Street, with Mayor Brian Mills presiding and with proper notice having been posted.<\/p>\n

Garbage Contract<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Garbage Contract is not to be signed tonight due to unclear provisions that our Attorneys will work out with Jim Pozzi and Republic\u2019s Attorneys.\u00a0 Republic is requesting signature by the end of June 2019.<\/p>\n

Public Improvements<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mayor Mills explained that the Village is researching the cause and possible remedy to the water overflow on Spencer and West St.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Resolution to convert the Water Reserve Acct to a Money Market Account<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Attorney Legner has prepared a Resolution to authorize the transfer of funds in the Village\u2019s Water Reserve Account into a Money Market Account.\u00a0 Trustee Jamie McPeek moved to approved the Resolution to transfer funds in the Water Reserve Account to a Money Market Account; second by Trustee Brian Verdun;<\/p>\n

Mayor Mills informed the Board that there have been responses from the Junk car letters that were sent out and that one is in the process of beginning court proceedings.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mayor Mills requested Jerry Bolen come forward.\u00a0 Mr. Bolen explained that he is working on repairing his building on South Front St.\u00a0 He was given until August to finish repairing the building, at which time our Building Inspector will inspect the building.<\/p>\n

A complaint will be filed in court in regards to the building adjacent to Mr. Bolen\u2019s building.<\/p>\n

NEW BUSINESS:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Portion of East High Street Vacation<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Attorney Legner will conduct further research with the Assessor\u2019s office on the portion of East High Street that should be vacated.<\/p>\n

Working Budget<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Board has reviewed the working budget for the Fiscal Year 2020 and agreed that the Appropriation can be prepared accordingly and presented in July.<\/p>\n
