Council Room, Odell, Illinois, Monday January 09, 2023 a Regular Board Meeting was held this date at 7:00pm, at Village Hall, Council Room, 213 S. Front Street, with Mayor Brian Mills presiding and with proper notice having been posted.<\/p>\n

Annual Water and Sewer Rate Review<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Trustee Tom Russell reported on the Water and Sewer Committee\u2019s annual review of water and sewer rates.\u00a0 Due to current repairs (mixer installation $57,000), maintenance and upkeep, and lack of raising rates over a period of time in earlier years, the committee advises to raise water and sewer rates by 20% as follows:<\/p>\n

Base water rate: from $24.00 to $28.80<\/p>\n

Per each 1,000 gallons of water use after base: from $8.65 to $10.38<\/p>\n

Base sewer rate: from $14.95 to $17.95<\/p>\n

Per each 1000 gallons of water use after base: from $5.75 to $6.90<\/p>\n
