Council Room, Odell, Illinois, Monday April 12, 2021, a Regular Board Meeting was held this date at 7:00pm, at Village Hall, Council Room, 213 S. Front Street, with Mayor Brian Mills presiding and with proper notice having been posted.

 

Roll Call

Roll call showed the following Trustee members were physically present: Brian Verdun, Lisa Lambert, Jamie McPeek, and Tom Russell

Staff Present: Iris Thorne, Jim Rebholz

Minutes of the March 08, 2021 Regular Board Meetings

Trustee Brian Verdun moved to accept the Minutes of the March 08, 2021 Regular Board Meeting; second by Trustee Tom Russell;

Treasurer’s Report

Board packets contained the Treasurer’s Report and the Year-to-date Fund Summary for the month ending March 31, 2021.  Treasurer Jim Rebholz reported bank balances for the month ending March 31, 2021 as follows:

Trustee Brian Verdun moved to approve the March 31, 2021 Treasurer’s Report; second by Trustee Tom Russell;

Board Listing Report #126 ran on April 12, 2021 at 1:13pm representing all due bills for the Village due in April; Board Listing #127 ran on April 12, 2021 at 2:33pm representing all due bills for Tourism; the between Meeting Paid Bill List; and one additional bill from ATR for $310.00 were presented for payment.

 

Trustee Brian Verdun moved to approve the Board Listing Report #126 ran on April 12, 2021 at 1:13pm representing all due bills for the Village due in April; Board Listing #127 ran on April 12, 2021 at 2:33pm representing all due bills for Tourism; the between Meeting Paid Bill List; and one additional bill from ATR for $310.00; second by Trustee Tom Russell;

Resolution to Cash in CD for the Purpose of Paying for Demolition

Resolution to Cash in CD for the Purpose of Paying for Demolition is tabled until the May Board Meeting

 

Miscellaneous Old Business

Mayor Mills updated the Board on the progress of the demolition of the downtown buildings.

NEW BUSINESS:

IDOT/MFT Resolution F/Y 2021-2022 MFT Program

Mayor Mills informed the board that the proposed MFT Program for this fiscal year has appropriated $85,000 for the maintenance of streets.

 

Trustee Jamie McPeek moved to accept the appropriation of $85,000 of the MFT funds for the purpose of maintaining of streets and highways under the applicable provisions of Illinois Highway code from 05/01/21 to 04/30/22; second by Trustee Brian Verdun;

Rebuild Illinois Funds Resolution

Trustee Jamie McPeek moved to approve $34,467.75 of Rebuild Illinois Funds for the purpose of maintaining street and highways under the Illinois Highway Code from 05/01/21 to 04/30/22; second by Trustee Brian Verdun;

Horse Variance Request, Garage and Pool Variance Request

Mayor Mills called for a motion to send the Horse Variance Request and the Garage and Pool Variance Requests to the Zoning Board.

 

Trustee Jamie McPeek moved to send the Horse Variance Request and the Garage and Pool Variance Requests to the Zoning Board; second by Trustee Brian Verdun;

Miscellaneous New Business

Mayor Mills reported that the water tower inspection and cleaning is going to cost $2,500.
