Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer Jim Rebholz was not in attendance. The July 2023 Treasurer’s Report and YTD Fund Summary was presented to the Board for approval. Reconciled balances for the month ending July 31, 2023 are as follows:

No representative from Livingston County Sheriffs Office was present to review the Police Activity Report for Odell for the month of July.

OLD BUSINESS:
Planning Commission Recommendation – Vacation of Morgan St (see Ordinance Below) Attorney Ehrgott indicated that last month the Planning Commission’s Recommendation was to not vacate Morgan Street- South and West of East Deer St. After discussion with the interested parties owning property along the street, an agreement that vacation of the street with right of way clauses would work for both concerned parties. The issue was tabled to consider an Ordinance to vacate the street with right of way clauses.

Trustee Randy Pagel moved to accept the Ordinance Providing for Vacation of all of South Morgan Street Lying South and West of East Deer Street in the Village of Odell; second by Trustee Tom Russell;

Appointment to Absent Trustee Board Seat
Mayor Mills recommends David Thorne to fill the absent Trustee seat of Trustee Trisha Biernat.

Mayor Mills bestowed the Oath of Office to new Trustee David Thorne.
Public Forum (at Mayor’s discretion)
Residents are here to follow up on the action taken upon complaint of a yard in town that has not been mowed. Mayor Mills explained the process taken in that complaint.

Village Property Easement North of Creek and South of 500 S Front St.
Conditions of and maintenance of an easement request North of Creek and South of 500 S Front St were discussed. Attorney Ehrgott will draft an easement agreement for the September Meeting.
