Council Room, Odell, Illinois, Monday February 12, 2024 a Regular Board Meeting was held this date at 7:00pm, at Village Hall, Council Room, 213 S. Front Street, with Mayor Brian Mills presiding and with proper notice having been posted.

Roll call showed the following Trustee members were physically present: Brian Verdun, David Thorne, Randy Pagel, Steve Verdun, Tom Russell and Josh Osborne

Treasurer’s Report
The Treasurer’s report of Bank Ending Balances and the Fund Summary for the month ending December 31, 2023 are present for review and approval. Treasurers report of Bank Ending Balances and Fund Summary for January 31, 2024 will be presented at the March Regular Board Meeting. Ending bank balances as of December 31, 2023 are as follows:

Board Listing Report #227 ran on February 12, 2024 at 10:36am representing all bills for the Village due in February and the between Meeting Paid Bill List for February for $9,495.24 were presented for payment approval.

Village Fire Alarm System Bids
Mayor Mills presented two bids on installing and maintenance of a fire alarm system for Village Hall and the Ag Building as follows: Brandenberg Electric Systems $24,198.00
Bennett Electric $29,173.00
Brandenberg Electric Systems is an automatic dial system and Bennett Electric has a monitoring fee of $355.00 per site per year.
Trustee Brian Verdun moved to purchase the Fire Alarm System from Brandenberg Electric Systems for $24,198.00; second by Trustee Steve Verdun;

Attorney Ehrgott reported that he still has not heard back from the State on the house on Tremont St.
NEW BUSINESS:
Assignment of Zoning and Planning Commission Board Members
Mayor Mills advised that he has appointed the following new members to the Zoning and Planning Commission Boards: Doug Abry; Mike Nabors; Norman Serran and Lisa Lambert.
Trustee Steve Verdun moved to approve the new members to the Zoning and Planning Commission Boards; second by Trustee Brian Verdun;

Building Permit for Communication Tower at Odell Grade School
Approval of a Building Permit for a communication tower at Odell Grade School was tabled.
Miscellaneous New Business (discussion only)
Mayor Mills advised that IDOT has audited the Village’s MFT Fund for 3 Fiscal Years (May 2020 thru April 2023) and received notice that the Village is in compliance. No vote required.
Trustee David Thorne moved to adjourn at 7:33pm; second by Trustee Randy Pagel;
